Here we are on site 1, on the side of the camp loop closest to the river, although we can't quite see it down over the banking. Sites are quite level, each has a trash can by its post and there are several water faucets around the loop. Date of visit: Sep 2011 |

All the sites are pretty much the same. Choosing a site probably boils down to how you want your rig situated with respect to the sun. Here are sites 5 and 6. |

On the south side of the loop are sites 9-14. |

There are two vault toilet buildings, one at each end of the campground. |

I've never encountered this clever type of firepiut before. It's raised and the grill swivels around to cover part of the pit. Each site has one of these as well as a raised grill. |

The Green River passes by the north side of the campground. |

Across the street and on the other side of the Green River is a well-maintained dirt road that provides access to 12 dispersed campsites along a 9-mile stretch of the river. |

I walked in a ways to the first site - very nice little flat spot right beside the river. There is no fee for use of these sites. |

However, access is a bit problematic for RV's. The road leading down to the site I visited was ratherv steep, narrow and with loose gravel and stone - I wouldn't attempt to take my 26' Class C RV down it. |
