Early December is a great time to visit Victoria Bryant SP - no crowds. In fact, we were the only folks here, so we had our choice of any site in the campground. We chose site 13 for its sun.

Date of visit: Dec 2008

Sites are large and level. Here are sites 12 and 11.

Site 7 is another large site, located near the edge of the hill facing west.

In the center of the larger camp loop is a community fire pit, volleyball court, and a covered pavilion.

Sites 14 and 15 are back-in sites.

Site 6 is a large pull-through site and is the only site that provides a 50-amp outlet; all others have twin 30-amp outlets.
Site 18.
Looking down the road into the second camp loop, we see sites 27 and 26 on the left.

Sites 23 and 24.

There are 8 of these platform tent sites. This T1.
Each of the two camp loops has a clean modern bathhouse, with free hot showers and laundry facilities.

Near site 3 is a play area for the kids. It has one of my favorite games: tether ball.

There are two Pioneer camping areas in the park, great places for Boy Scouts and other larger groups of campers.
One of the hiking trails takes one along the bank of Rice Creek.
Another trail heads out to an observaton platform overlooking a beaver pond. Trails are wide and even, but there are a lot of hills.
Near the park entrance is a fishing pond which is restricted to handicap use only. There is another smaller pond for campers to use. Both are stocked.
