There were two sites available when we pulled in - this one in the middle (which we took) or a narrow back-in just behind it. I had to do some finagling to get us reasonably level. These sites appear to be new, and they don't show up on the Google Earth picture of the campground. Date of visit: Jan 2012 |

This is what you see as pull in - a small grassy area with tent sites off to the left and the RV spots to the rear and right. Even the tent sites have electric and water hookups. |

The bathhouse is pretty spartan and let's just say it's not spotless. On the back of the building is a slot where you deposit your camping fee. |

Tips Park, Three Rivers, TX
Tips Park is located on the west side of Three Rivers, Texas, one-half mile west of US-281 on TX-72. With the oil business picking up, the park has become home to semi-permanent workers, leaving only 2-3 spots for short-stay visitors.
