Check-in is at the marina office down by the boat ramp.  At the time of our visit, the office was closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Date of visit: Dec 2011.

We chose one of the 5 less-expensive sites that have only water and electric hookups. Site 5 is beside the road down to the boat ramp and offers a good view of the lake as well as the Union Pacific RR mainline.  Lots of trains, but far enough away that their noise is minimal.

The lower area has the 5 W/E-only sites.

Sites 6-20 are aligned in a straight row, fairly close together and surrounded by gravel.  The pads themselves are paved.  These sites offer FHU's.

The bathhouse is pretty spartan, but offers nice hot showers.  It was not exactly hot inside and the showers hadn't had a good scrubbing in quite a while.  The sinks and toilets are accessible to all, but the showers are behind a cypher-locked door.

These are the four rental cabins.

There's a large pavilion and a play area for the kids.
The boat ramp is open to the public as well as military folks.

A small full-service marina is located in front of the office beside the boat ramp.

For the railfans, there is a lot of activity on the nearby tracks.  Every other day Amtrak's Sunset Limited passes by, eastbound in the evening and westbound in the morning.
And there are lots of freight trains, mostly container trains.  Most have a couple of locomotives on the front and a pusher on the back, but this one had six locomotives up front.

15 sites W/E(30/50)/S - $15/day, $72/week

5 sites W/E(30/50) - $10/day, $50/week

4 tent sites - $7

4 cabins - $35
