We didn't stay at Osprey Cove, but did take a walk through while staying at Pelican Cove. Sites 31-34 are the first you see as you enter the campground. Date of visit: Dec 2009 |
Across from them are sites 47-50. The campground has a very pleasant feel to it, with well-maintained grass and lots of trees for shade. |
At the far end of the loop are sites 5-11 which back up against the woods. At most sites RV's or trailers must back over a raised curbing to reach the parking area. |
Although the actual parking pad is not paved, there is a cement patio beside each site, along with a sidewalk from the car parking spaces in front. |
Osprey Cove is intended for fully-contained RV's only - there is no bathhouse. Nor is there a community building such as at Pelican Roost. However, for good weather gatherings, there is this gazebo in the center of the campground. |
Sites on the north side of the loop ar best situated for easy satellite setup. Here are sites 27-29. |
