We originally hadn't planned to stop at Norris, but we decided it was a convenient spot and would save some driving. Sites are generally small and all the more level ones were taken; the best we could do was this pull-off on a hill. As you can see, it took some doing to get the rig level. Date of visit: Sep 2011 |

A mile walk through the woods takes one to the Norris Geyser Basin, where you can find colorful springs, steam vents and geysers. |

Norris CG, Yellowstone NP, WY
Norris Campground is located somewhat near the center of Yellowstone NP. It's a smaller campground, mostly wooded and most sites are on a hillside. There are no hookups, no showers, no dump station.
