Sites are laid out in pairs. Each has a small shade over its picnic table, but for half the sites, it's on the wrong side of the rig. For that reason many of the motorhome pull in frontwards. Water and electric hookups are at the back of the sites. |

Just inside the entrance gate is the office where you check-in for the campground. You can also buy a few souvenirs, such as T-shirts and hats. |

The bathhouse is located at the south end of the campground. Showers are located at ground level while the toilets and sinks are on the upper level. Hot showers are free. |

Camping is allowed on the beach. The sand is hard-packed so vehicle travel is possible. |

Fishing is a popular activity here. Oil rigs stretch along the horizon - I counted 26. |

Mustang Island SP , TX
Mustang Island State Park is located near the south end of Mustang Island, just east of Corpus Christi. 48 RV sites are located in what amounts to a large parking lot just behind the dunes. Fishing and swimming are the two main activities here.
