East Fork CG is located smack dab in the center of Durbin, WV. It's a no-frills kind of place, but we were content to spend a night here.

A chilly mid-April day brought us to East Fork CG. We were met by the friendly CG Host, who guided us to the one site with some gravel. Date of Visit: Apr 07 Rate: $12.00 - $16.00 No Verizon Wireless Service |

All but the site we were on are grassy sites with water and electric hookups (30/50A). Some have sewer. This row of sites is along the bank of the Greenbrier River. |

As you can see, all sites are open and sunny. Certainly you'd have no problem setting up satellite dishes for TV or Internet. |

Another view. |

There's a small playground with a swing/slide set and some basketball hoops. In the distance is a picnic pavilion. |

An overall view of the campground field. |

This has
to qualify as one of the most "basic" bathhouses we've encountered.
Built inside a metal utility shed, there are two bathrooms, complete
with heat and hot showers. |

In the
distance, just beyond the railroad cars, is downtown Durbin. In fact,
one registers for the CG at the hardware store. |

As a railfan,
I was especially pleased to find that the CG is right beside the Durbin
& Greenbrier Valley Railroad, a scenic tourist line. |
