Sunny, but chilly, weather greeted us when we arrived at Crosswinds a week before Thanksgiving. No problem finding a site - we ended up on 45, just a short distance from the lake.

Date of visit: Nov 2007

Campground Loop A does not have hookups, while loops B and C offer E/W hookups. One of the best sites in Loop A is A-21.

In Loop C site C-23 would be an outstanding place to park the RV for a few days.

Crosswinds has a number of double sites (too many, in my humble opinion). Great for a larger group of campers or two familes camping together, they comprise most of the prime waterfront sites. If you want one to yourself, you pay double the fee. This shows site C-24, one of them.

Sunny site C-30 is another of the double sites.

Friend Susan had gotten here a week before us, and had claimed one of the best waterfront sites, B-40..
Site A-36, left, is another double site.

C-2 is a pleasantly sunny site.

A-27.
The bathhouses located in each camping loop do not rank too high in our estimation. They are unheated and although they supposedly offer hot showers, at the time of our visit I got only cold water for my shower.

Jordan Lake would appear to be a fisherman's paradise. Near Loop A is a boat launch, and folks can tie up their boat along the shore in front of their site.

A large sandy beach and swimming area is located in Loop B. As you might gather from the exposed shoreline in the distance, water level is down about 5 feet, thanks to the lack of rain this year.
