Westover ARB, MA

Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) opened a new FAMCAMP at Westover ARB in 2003. Westover is located in Chicopee MA, just north of Springfield. It's conveniently just off I-90 at Exit 5 and not too far from I-91. There are 20 RV sites with cement pads, electric and water hookups, as well as a few tent sites. There is also a dump station and a new bathhouse with showers, a laundry room, and a small camp store, collocated with the Outdoor Recreation office. Unusual for New England, the FAMCAMP is open all year round, although water at the sites is turned off during the cold weather season. There is a Base Exchange nearby. The FAMCAMP does not take reservations. 413-557-2192.
