Cedars of Lebanon SP

Arriving on a Monday afternoon, we had no problem finding a site. Most are well-shaded, but we managed to find one with a small hole through the trees to the southwest for our satellite dish.

Date of visit: Apr 07

There are three campground loops; we were in loop 2. All the sites in this loop are back-in with W/E(30A) hookups.

Site 32 is at `the left, 27 to the right.

Still in loop 2, here are sites 14 on the left, 12 straight ahead, and 11 on the right.
Each camp loop has a bathhouse. They're a bit dated and could use a little paint inside, but they re adequate, with hot showers.

Loop 1, because of limited electrical capacity, is restricted to tents, pop-ups, and vans - no motorhomes. E(20A)/W hookups are available in this loop.

Site 2

Sites 6 and 8 in loop 1.

The most open and sunny sites are in loop 1. Here are sites 25 (empty) and 23 (with tent).

Loop 3 offers 30 or 50 Amp hookups, along with water. The sites with 50A offer only that; there is no 30A outlet in the box.

Sites are much closer together. Here site 36 is the empty site at left, with 35 and 34 beyond.

The bathhouse in loop 1 is the newest. The site to the left is 3.

Here you can see how closely spaced the sites in loop 1 are. These are sites 7 and 8.

The campground offers a laundry facility ($1.00/load). The camp office is in the right side of the building.

Got the kids with you? They'll enjoy the shaded playground.
If you'd rather not rough in in the campground, there are 12 cabins for rent.

Cedars of Lebanon offers 8 miles of hiking trails. We walked the 2-mile Cedar Forest Trail - very pleasant hike.

This was the largest of many limestone sinks we encountered. That hole in the middle went very deep - we could not see the bottom.
More of the limestone formations along the trail.
The trail passed under a power line, where these wild flowers thrived in the sunshine.

What NOT to do !

Despite a prohibition on dumping gray water on the ground, we found this camper who evidently felt the rules don't apply to him.
