We arrived at Caribou on Thursday afternoon, and although the park was fairly busy, we had no problem getting a site to our liking - sunny and with a view of the ocean.  Site 10.

Date of visit: Aug 2009

If you like to be out in the open, then sites 1-24 are for you.  They are arranged in a circle in a large grassy area right beside the beach.  These are sites 4-8

You can get a little afternoon shade in the back of the loop, such as sites 21 and 23 here.

Sites 25-95 are all wooded sites; here is 54.

Site 92 is another wooded site.

As is site 45.
The bathhouse is located in the middle of the wooded loops, a pretty good walk from the sunny sites, 1-24.  It was clean and provides free hot showers.

Scattered throughout the campground are some more primitive facilities.

What do you do at Caribou?  Why, hang out on the long sandy beach.
The walkway from the campground down to the beach.
