Butte View was a convenient stop for us as we were heading west through the Dakotas on US-12. We had plenty of sites to choose from; we ended up on 43 in loop C . Date of visit: Sep 2011 |

The bathhouse is pretty primitive and could be cleaner. The free hot showers have a pull-chain to control the water. |

In many years of camping, I don't recall ever seeing a sign like this. I guess there are some folks who need to be reminded of the proper protocol. |
