Plenty of space when we arrived on a Tuesday afternoon. Site A-9 suited us, as it was the most open of all the sites. Not much sun today, though. Date of visit: May 2008 |

All the sites are quite similar - fairly large, private, and shaded. This is site A-4. |

There are a few sites that "sorta" offer a view of the ocean through the trees, such as A-46. |

Site A-16 was another fairly open site, and larger than most. |

There are 4 cabins that can be rented. Each has electricity and heat, and is equipped with a bed and two bunks. |

There is a modern bathhouse located in the center of the camp loop - it offers free hot showers. |

|
One of our goals of our trip up the coast is visiting lighthouses, so we were drawn to the Cape Blanco lighthouse. It's just a short distance from the campground. |

Cape Blanco SP, OR
Cape Blanco SP is located about 4 miles west of US-101 a few miles north of Port Orford. There are 53 sites in the campground, each with W/E(30/50A) hookups.
