We were a little nervous about arriving on a Saturday without a reservation, but the camping gods were with us. There were plenty of sites to choose from. We ended up on B-2, on the outside edge of the camping loop. We loved the view out our rear window. Date of visit: Jun 2008 |

After supper we drove around to the west side of the tower, to enjoy the fading light at sunset. A bonus was to find the almost-full moon rising right over the tower. |
