The biggest thing about Assateague SP is the total lack of shade. I spent the days slowly moving my chair around our camper to stay in the shade. Date of visit: May 1993 |

The other big thing about Assateague are the supposedly wild horses that roam freely through the campground. This guy was ignoring the the directional arrow on the road. |
