Knowing we would be here over a March weekend, we made a reservation several days before our arrival.  All the waterfront sites were booked, so we selected site 12, which offers a nice view of the lake.

Date of visit: Mar 2009

Sites 11 and 10.  The folks in the Winnebago View are full-timers.

Site 9 is a very nice waterfront pull-through site. Sites have only a dirt surface - rather messy in the rain.  A little gravel would be a big improvement.

Sites 1-7.

Sites 25-27.  Sites 23, 24 and 25 are designated handicapped sites and are paved.

Sites 31-28.
Sites 19 and 23.

Sites 11, 10, and 9 are probably the best three waterfront sites.

Seen from the fishing pier are sites 8-10.
The bathhouse is small, but modern and very clean, with hot showers.

The dump station is located at the back of the bathhouse.  You'll need a longer than usual hose to reach the drain.

There is one cabin for rent.
This corner of Lake Seminole is a great place to do a little paddling.  If you don't have your own, you can rent a canoe.
There's a small boat launch right beside the campground.  At night, you can tie your boat up right in front of your waterfront site.
I got up one morning just in time to catch the sunrise over the lake.
This fellow was heading out early to his favorite fishing spot.
A pileated woodpecker visited our campsite one morning.
There is a pleasant 2-mile nature trail from the campground.  We remembered these lily-like flowers from  previous visits.
Out for a row at sunset.
